Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? I've got answers. Here are the most common things people ask me about month-of coordination and working together.

  • A wedding planner helps you from the beginning; design, vendor booking, the whole thing. A month-of coordinator (that's me!) steps in when you've already done the planning. I take your vision and make sure it actually happens on your wedding day. I'm not designing your wedding; I'm executing what you've already planned.

  • No hard feelings! I'm selective about who I work with because I want both of us to feel good about the partnership. If we meet and it's not the right fit, I'll be honest about it. Your wedding coordinator should feel like a good teammate—not someone you're just tolerating.

  • I work best with events up to 150 guests. Smaller, more intimate celebrations are my sweet spot.

  • I account for overhead (marketing, time for correspondence, etc) which is a small piece of the pie.

I pay myself a higher hourly rate for hours accounted for on site than time I calculate for work before the event. The Essential package accounts for 10 hours day of and 5-7 hours for work prior to the event, including our 2 hour call.

Premier package includes 4 hours for an assistant day of , higher day of rate, and more time worked ahead of time due to the more complex nature of a larger event.

If I make a custom package I use the same formula, how much more time might it take me ahead of the event, how much am I managing day of, and done need to hire more help.

  • Ideally, 6-12 months before your event but I accept bookings 45 days before the event. Peak wedding season can book up quicker (June-September in Montana). Don’t hesitate to reach out and let's see if we can make it work.

  • Cancellation policies are outlined in your contract. The 20% deposit is non-refundable once the contract is signed, as it holds your date and turns away other bookings.

  • It's primarily me! I have one consistent assistant who works with me regularly, and I can hire additional skilled labor for setup and event support as needed. This keeps things personal while ensuring you have the hands you need on the day.
